Nice to meet you!
I'm Gwen Diamond and I'm a graphic designer in the Sierra Nevada foothills in California. After completing a BA in Anthropology at UCSD I spent 10 years in the non-profit and informal education sector as a writer, editor, and educator. In 2020 pandemic limbo was the perfect time to make a change and pursue my love of art and visual communication. I began my design journey by creating photobooks and editing home videos for a friend and was hungry for more. I started taking classes at my local Community College to further develop my skills and practice and graduated with an AS in Media and Design in Spring 2025. I am excited to be using both my love of art and my problem solving skills to find visual solutions for my clients and communicate effectively with their intended audience.
I have been delighted to work with amazing clients including: The Columbia Fire Department, The Mother Lode Jewish Community, Nicol Rand Therapy, Chai Cycle, Con Amor, Columbia College Academic Senate, and Murphys Creek Theatre.
I have also enjoyed using my design skills as a volunteer for fundraiser's and community building.
