I had the pleasure of designing this temporary display at the Columbia State Park Museum for Con Amor. They were a joy to work with and I learned so much about the history of the area from participating in this project. Con Amor provided text and images gathered during their extensive research and we worked together to pare down the text to better work in the space we had. Working on a bi-lingual exhibit was a wonderful new challenge and I enjoyed refreshing my Spanish and learning to equally balance both languages in the space.
The project consisted of a total of 6 panels which were displayed together with the exhibit from the previous year designed by Tim McCaffery. Tim also consulted on this project and provided feedback and suggestions before the panels were finalized. I was grateful for the chance to work with and receive feedback from an experienced designer. The Sword of Honor poster I designed for the previous exhibit was also displayed again here.
